Tennova Healthcare and Partner Physicians Open Middlebrook Surgery Center

New addition brings the community additional access to much needed medical services.

Knoxville, TN (August 17, 2022) – On Tuesday, August 9, Tennova and partner physicians were joined by Knox City Councilman, Andrew Roberto, and Knox County Commissioner John Schoonmaker for the ribbon cutting of the new Middlebrook Surgery Center at Tennova Health Park.

Patients are now scheduling outpatient surgeries at this new facility, conveniently located at 1210 Tennova Medical Way. Middlebrook Surgery Center offers convenient access to services for residents of nearby nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and neighborhoods. Surgeries performed will include ear/nose/throat, facial plastics, colorectal, gastro-intestinal endoscopy, gynecologic and general. The surgery center is designed and built with the patient experience in mind.

With the opening of Middlebrook Surgery Center, Tennova Health Park now has three clinical facilities onsite. The Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital offers rehabilitation for patients who suffer from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, multiple trauma, amputation and other injuries or disorders. The Knoxville Center for Behavior Medicine provides a continuum of care for adults and geriatric patients with psychiatric, emotional, and addictive disorders; partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are offered with individualized treatment plans based on clinical need.
