Patients & Visitors
Current Visitor Guidelines
Due to the steadily increasing number of COVID-19 cases in our area, each patient may have only one designated visitor for the duration of their appointment, procedure or hospital stay, effective July 13, 2020. We appreciate your understanding as the nation works to control the spread of the virus.
- One designated visitor (ages 18 and older) may visit.
- Visitation is contingent upon wearing a cloth face covering or mask.
- Visitors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, including temperature checks.
- These visitor restrictions apply to all inpatient and outpatient locations and clinics, including doctors’ offices on- and off-campus.
- Some patients, including those with positive or pending COVID-19 test results, may not be allowed to have a visitor.
Use of Cloth Face Coverings to Slow the Spread of COVID-19
Everyone entering our hospitals, medical office buildings and clinics must wear a cloth face covering. Face coverings can include homemade cloth masks, scarves and bandannas, as long as they cover both your nose and mouth. Visit the CDC for additional guidance on cloth face coverings.
At Turkey Creek Medical Center, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, parking instructions, transportation and more.
